Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
When you enter information into a sponsored search box, the query is sent to the company that operates that tool. The provider processes the request under its own privacy terms. Ward County Warrant Records does not store or log search terms on its own system.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you send a message through a published contact route, we keep it so we can respond. We do not share it outside the organization unless a valid legal obligation requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
Loading a page can create technical visit data, such as:
- the IP address used by the device
- browser name and version
- device type and operating system
- pages viewed and time spent on them
- the referring site, when one is present
- the time each page was opened
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved by a browser. They help measure which pages are viewed and where visitors leave. Analytics providers may combine traffic information into general reports. You can block cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may then work differently.
What We Do With This Data
- keep pages available and improve loading speed
- send a search query to the partner that operates the tool
- understand which information readers use
- find and repair technical problems
- display advertising that may reflect general interests
No Warrant Data on File
Ward County Warrant Records does not host, build, maintain, or sell a database of warrants or personal warrant files. The site explains where Ward County records may be held, including the Sheriff, the 143rd Judicial District Court, the District Clerk, and lower courts. The official sources reviewed did not identify one public countywide warrant search.
Visitor data is not assembled into a consumer report or a file about another person. This is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. For a case status, contact the issuing court or the Sheriff for routing.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes are run by outside providers. Information entered there is handled under the partner’s own privacy policy, not this one. Each provider sets its own retention and sharing practices, which Ward County Warrant Records does not control. Read that policy before submitting information.
Links to Other Websites
Pages may link to county departments, courts, state agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. Once you follow a link, that organization’s terms and privacy notice govern the visit. Review them before sending personal information.
Some advertising partners may track activity across websites on their own systems to choose ads. That activity is outside our direct control.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Information may be handled by:
- a search partner receiving a query you submit
- analytics services measuring site use
- advertising networks that place ads
- a government or law-enforcement body when a valid legal order requires it
How We Protect Your Data
We use standard security steps for the information we collect. Internet-connected systems cannot be guaranteed free of risk, however. We work to protect data but cannot promise that a breach will never occur.
Users Under 18
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 18. If you believe a minor sent us personal information, use the site’s contact route so we can review and delete it when appropriate.
Your Data Rights
Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 541 gives certain privacy rights to consumers whose data is processed by a covered controller, subject to the law’s scope and exceptions. Depending on whether the law applies, those rights can include asking for access, correction, or deletion and opting out of targeted advertising, data sale, or certain profiling. This policy does not promise that every provision applies to this site.
